Karnataka, India, November 29, 2024: Wavar, a leader in sustainable agricultural practices, has partnered with Krushikalpa Foundation, a prominent Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) based in Hubli, Karnataka. This strategic collaboration is set to revolutionize farming practices across the state by introducing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technology to enhance crop yields and reduce pest-related challenges.
Krushikalpa Foundation works closely with 35 Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) spread across Karnataka, representing farmers cultivating key crops such as soyabean, gram, maize, turmeric, chilli, tomato, brinjal, and various vegetables. Together with Wavar, the FPO has implemented IPM technology across an extensive area of 4,200 acres, aiming to empower farmers with sustainable and cost-effective farming solutions.
